Here we stand under a sky cast alight
Marching towards a humble demise
We may never again see the sun
We fight for those who will carry on
We’re haunted souls in this endless night
Servants of the midnight sun
This winding mountain road
Crawls under alien skies
A pathway to salvation
Sitting at the edge of a new dawn
Alone we cry
Graced by the morning light
We’ve walked for miles on this dusty road
Through a grey garden of ash
Here we walk into the fragile abyss
Festered souls that we left behind
Temples stand empty, a hollow demise
Those who still stand, we take to the skies
In a new age we may stand eternal
Martyrs of the midnight sun
This winding mountain road
Crawls under alien skies
A pathway to salvation
Sitting at the edge of a new dawn
Alone we cry
Graced by the morning light
We’ve walked for miles on this dusty road
Through a grey garden of ash
This is the bands last release and boy did they deliver.Someone used the word stunning to describe the music.Hard at times yet that cello what a beautiful instrument. It can make the hardest song soft.As always an honour to support fellow Canadians, thank you for making this world a better place for a little while as when listening i leave this shit hole world behind for a short while. lloydd
